Skipper I: Kurt Rindlisbacher (born: 1956, nationality: Swiss)

Kurt owns a university degree as Master of Economics and as Master of Science in Structural Engineering as well as a BA as real estate fiduciary. At the peak of his career as CEO of reputable companies he decided to make one of the hobbies he had loved from boyhood to one of the centres of his activities beside manageing his company.

Kurt has been sailing from the age of 10 on and during his years of study he was a successful regatta sailer. His military basic training he did as an underwater diver (frogman), then he moved up to colonel in the Swiss Air Force. Therefore he is also pilot with blind flight qualification (VFR/IFR).

Among other certificates he holds also the RYA/MCA Yachmaster Offshore Certificate of Competence.

Skipper II: Marlene Leuthard (born: 1962, nationality: Swiss)

Due to the fact that Marlene grew up in a gastronomy family she learnt to know the different areas of gastronomy in her early childhood already.

Marlene owns a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management and Hospitality Management. After several years of successful activities on the real estate sector and as a manager of a gastronomy company she decided to combine her experience and her knowledge with her hobby - which she manages to do in an excellent way. At home she runs very successfully her own business.

Marlene has been sailing on dinghies and yachts from the age of 20 on. She also owns the certificates and experience required to command yachts up to a displacement of 300 tons as a skipper.

The two well-travelled, experienced sailors executed (had led) many different fascinating and unforgettable trips in the most diverse sailing territories.
